Hi there! Hope your week went by quickly. I should be hearing about a job soon. Hopefully, I'm hoping something comes along <fingers crossed>. So, today I am playing along with the Freshly Made sketch for this week. It's a great sketch with lots of possibilities. I decided to get out some designer paper (big surprise!) and create a birthday card. Here is my card:
And here is the sketch for this week....
I just love the colors of that designer paper and the flower (and coordinating punch) is from Stampin' Up! So shabby chic-ish so says my daughter..haha. Anyway, I hope your weekend gets started nicely. See you soon and thanks for stopping in!
Hi! Well..looks like I am on a baby kick this week and cannot give enough love to A New Little Someone. I have had this Stampin Up set since 2003 and it is, by far, my favorite baby stamp set. That bunny just calls my name every time I need a baby card. Anyway, so I am playing along with this week's Retro Sketches. Here is my card followed by the sketch.
Thanks for stopping in. Always good to have visitors. :)
Hey you guys! Thanks for stopping in. I know I had a card for the Retro Sketches already today, but here I am again with another. I love the sketch. I love sketch challenges! I'm also playing along with this week's Curtain Call challenge and this week'sColor Throwdown. Take a look at these colors for Curtain Cal and then for Color Throwdown.
Aren't they beautiful ?This card is for a very good friend whose birthday totally slipped my mind. It was the day Ava and I went to the Ed Sheeran concert, but that's no excuse, right? So, I'm ending the card along with a Starbucks gift card as a peace offering. Maybe I'll get invited out for coffee! haha. So, here is the card and then the sketch:
I finally got some of the little sequins from Stampin' Up! and used some of those:
Aren't they just adorable? I must get more of these.
Anyway, so here is the sketch:
Well, that's all I have for today. Thanks for stopping in!
Hi! Look at me..back again with another card. I'm finally able to catch on to something they are doing over at Papertrey. The MiM's always seem too hard for me, but this time I think I picked it up pretty well, though that's not to say it was easy for me by any means.
The challenge was to use paper weaving to make a background or anything else you wanted. Here is a link to the challenge - Make it Monday. Here is my card:
It took a bit of time, but I would definitely use this technique again!
Hi guys! I have a quick card that I thought I had already posted to this week's Freshly Made Sketches, but apparently had not and it's ending in 15 minutes! :) So here is my card followed by the sketch:
Hello. I had to make a sympathy card for a friends of mine who lost her mother suddenly. There are my least favorite cards to do - as I am sure they are yours as well. Anyway, no challenges or color combos here...just a card from the heart.
Hi everyone. Hope you're have a great Sunday wherever you. It's 60 degrees here in my part of Tennessee and I love it. My daughter and I went to see Ed Sheeran last night. He always puts on a fantastic show! Well, anyway today I am playing along with he ladies over at Color Throwdown. Here are the colors we were to use:
And here is my card:
I think I need a better light source, because my cards are so bright and cheerful in person. Get them on film, though, and they look washed out. Any thoughts on that? Well, thanks for stopping in!
